Position Papers
Delegates may be required to submit a position paper, which is a document delegates will write before the conference begins to outline their country or character's position on the topic of their committee. Position papers are an opportunity for delegates to brainstorm solutions to the solutions also look at the issues laid out in their background guides. While only shared with the dais, position papers can be used by delegates as a reference sheet to look back on their research during the conference. Use the delegate handbook as reference for committee specifics and Model UN procedures.
All of DCMUN 2026’s committees require position papers except the crisis committees.
