Meet Kerwins Saint-Jean, a dynamic force in the Black community and an advocate for entrepreneurial empowerment. Currently, Kerwins is the Project Coordinator for BCRC's Project RIDE (Réseau de Renforcement d'Intervention Entrepreneuriale), where he dedicates his efforts to supporting both existing and aspiring Black entrepreneurs. His journey into activism began in 2020 when he co-organized a monumental Black Lives Matter protest in Sherbrooke, drawing over 3,000 participants and making a significant impact. Of Haitian descent, Kerwins brings a rich cultural perspective to his work and community engagement. Beyond his professional endeavors, he enjoys a unique and fulfilling pastime—managing a small farm with nearly 20 chickens and counting. Kerwins is a beacon of leadership and inspiration, continuously striving to uplift and empower his community.
