DCMUN 2027

This year’s SOCHUM will force delegates to confront environmental issues that are affecting our world head on. While the world races to create more, ignoring the waste that comes with it, peoples and ecosystems suffer. The aforementioned waste brings forth a plethora of issues — especially when not disposed of properly — that must be handled.

 

Be it through the impact on human communities of environmental degradation, or through the health issues unsatisfactory waste management causes, this committee seeks to find a way to assure the well-being of inhabitants around the world.

 

Creative ideas will become indispensable, all while holding the obligation of implementing them in a fair and equitable way around the globe. All in all, delegates will need to find a way to a breathable today, and a livable tomorrow.
